Getting recognized alone was an honor, getting to share the celebration with good friends was just a bonus treat. I feel like I spent the entire week ending my sentences with exclamation points (!!!!). There was a luncheon for honorees at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington that I brought my dear friend Heidi to share the fun.  Pro-tip: have a Heidi in your life. Things are just better that way.

Before we jet out to bust out the sparklers, a quick photo set I threw together with some moments and memories I loved from 2010 and the friends who made it a blast.

The fun includes: surprising best friend at the Kennedy Center, Rome, Malta, my first (and last) visit to Founding Farmers, Isra + Christine being awesome, Mike’s surprise visit and mischievous niece and nephews who keep me on my toes.

Doing a blog right.

I’m relaunching this little site of mine so bear with me as I tweak the design, some CSS and find my voice again. I’m out of blog shape, someone hand me a water bottle… or you know, the geek equivalent of a water bottle (a protractor?)

I’m going to be posting some journalism work of mine, moving some posts that I love and generally trying not to suck. Enjoy!
