(Women, Action and Media) conference in Boston, MA and met the uber fabulous Fatemeh Fakhraie, the savvy editor behind <a href="http://muslimahmediawatch.org/">Muslimah Media Watch</a>.</p>
<p>She&#8217;s followed up afterward and produced <a href="http://muslimahmediawatch.org/2009/04/22/sabria-hersi-issa-media-maker-ceo-and-kick-ass-muslimah/">this great interview of me</a> about being a Muslim journalist and my other media work! Thank you Fatemeh!</p>
<p>I feel the need to share that we hung out for awhile before I found out that she was THE Fatemeh, writer of one of my favorite blogs.
